Financial exploitation is a fast-growing form of abuse of seniors and adults with disabilities. Situations of financial exploitation commonly involve trusted persons in the life of the vulnerable adult.  The Vulnerable adult was my 86 year old mother (Irma).  The exploitation of her was perpetrated by my younger brother and his wife.  I wanted to do something to bring light to this issue that you would think would never happen to you.  This site is my way of fighting back, telling my story and informing others what to look for and where to get help.
